Client Request
The client requested a smart door security system for their villa that would send notifications to designated residents as soon as any door or window is opened, and would also have a night alert system.
Challenges
• Ensuring seamless integration of the Fibaro and Autonics door sensors.
• Ensuring that the Q-light tower light is activated only when required, and that it sounds an alarm in addition to sending notifications.
• Ensuring that the system is reliable and does not generate false alarms.
Solution
To meet the client's request, we utilized a large number of Fibaro door sensors along with an Autonics door sensor with the code ADS-AF. The output of the Autonics sensor was connected to the Fibaro system via a converter to ensure seamless integration. As soon as any door or window is opened, the Fibaro system sends an email or mobile notification to the designated residents. The same happens as soon as the main door is touched. For the night alert system, we used a Q-light tower light that is activated by the villa owner. As soon as any door or window is opened or the main door is touched, the system sends various types of notifications and sounds an alarm through the Q-light tower light. We ensured that the system is reliable and does not generate false alarms by testing it thoroughly.
