Client Request
The client requested a showcase of the application of residential and industrial smart systems using a Fibaro smart system, with the ability to control lighting, irrigation simulation, and water level display.
Challenges
•Technical difficulties in integrating different smart products and sensors into the Fibaro system.
•Logistics of creating a functional demo kit with a wooden structure covered in plexiglass and 3D-printed container model.
•Time constraints in developing and testing the solution before the exhibition.
Solution
We developed a demo kit equipped with a Fibaro smart system, which controlled lighting, irrigation, and water level using various sensors and relays. The kit consisted of a wooden structure covered in plexiglass with lighting inside, a 3D-printed container model to simulate irrigation, and a control panel embedded with the Fibaro system. We used SAMWON Automatic Temperature Controller SU-105 IP and SAMWON Humidity sensor SU-503B to monitor temperature and humidity levels. Notifications were sent to designated individuals through the Fibaro system when predetermined levels were reached. We also used AUTONICS CR18 8DN proximity sensor to display water level control, AUTONICS BR100DDT photo sensor to detect objects, and AUTONICS PRL081.5DN inductive sensor to indicate the opening and closing of the gate. The Fibaro Home Center 3 Lite was used to integrate all the smart products and sensors into the system. The solution addressed the challenges by careful planning and testing before the exhibition.
Products Used In This Project
Temperature Controller IC sensor Input, Relay Output - SU-105IP
The SU105IP from SU-105 series is temperature controllers that produced by Samwon Eng. The input sensor is a IC (-50.0°C~150°C) sensor, and the first and second outputs are relays that can operate on both AC (240VAC 50/60Hz) and DC (12/24VDC optional).
Humidity Controller 0 to 99%RH Input, Relay Output - SU-503BN
The SU-503BN replaces the SU-503B code and the only distinction between this code and SU-503B is the body's color. The humidity controller SU-503BN from Samwon Eng. uses a precise humidity sensor from Honeywell Company and working with both AC and DC (optional).
Capacitive Sensor M18, NPN NO – CR18-8DN
Regarding Capacitive proximity sensor, when the sensor power is on, the oscillation of the current is close to 0V. When the object approaches to the sensor, the capacitance will be increased and the oscillation of the current is increased. This output section will be operated by increasing the oscillation.

The Autonics proximity sensor PRL18-5DN features outstanding noise protection and stable sensing performance due to its specialized sensor IC developed by Autonics. This sensor comes in a round cylindrical shape, sensing distance of 5mm, sensing side diameter and housing size of m18 and shield (flush) installation.
